The purpose of this initiative is to provide required protection for vanavasis from a social security perspective. In this program, VKK Karyakarthas help vanavasis in ensuring the following facilities to them:

  • Bringing awareness about the facilities available to them as per the law
  • Required documents and records to get the facilities such as:
    • Aadhar Card
    • Ration Card
    • Voter Id Card
    • Caste Certificate
    • Bank Account
    • Land Records
    • Employment Letters
  • Provide awareness on what they are eligible for, as prescribed in the law
  • Spread awareness and protecting the rich culture of vanavasis
  • All government provided facilities like:
    • Compensation for Widows
    • Compensation for old aged people
    • Facilities for physically challenged people
    • Facilities for mentally challenged people
  • Develop community halls for vanavasis to perform their rituals and encourage their cultural activities. There are few community halls are constructed with the support of VKK 4 various tribal areas.
